How Whop’s fees work
Whop’s core cost is its payment processing fee: 2.7% + $0.30 per successful domestic card sale. A few extra charges apply only in specific situations: international cards add 1.5%, currency conversion adds 1%, collecting sales tax adds 2%, selling through an affiliate adds 1.25%, and the optional billing and orchestration features add 0.5% and 0.8%. There is no monthly or setup fee.
Separately, payout fees are charged when you withdraw your balance, not on each sale: next-day ACH is $2.50, instant bank (RTP) is 4% + $1, crypto and Venmo are 5% + $1, and a bank wire is $23. Because these depend on how often you withdraw, the calculator lets you set your withdrawal habit (monthly, every few months, at a balance target, or per sale) and works out your real monthly and yearly take-home from there.
About the “platform fee”: Whop says it charges a platform fee on some transactions, but it does not publish a rate anywhere official. Rather than repeat the unverified “3%” figure that circulates online, we leave it at 0 and let you enter your own rate if you know it. Everything else here is taken from Whop’s official numbers.

All rates are taken from Whop’s official fee schedule at docs.whop.com/fees, verified in August 2026. Fees can change over time, so it is always worth confirming against the official page before relying on a number.
